MCP server

MyDataNest inside Claude, ChatGPT and your IDE

The MCP server brings your brand memory, your writing agents and your calendar to the AI assistant you already use. You ask; it writes, recycles, schedules and publishes with your strategy.

    What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard that lets an AI assistant use external tools. Once MyDataNest is connected, your assistant stops writing generic text: it reads your brand context and hands the writing to MyDataNest's agents, who know your tone, your pillars and your channels.

    Your AI assistant

    • Leads the conversation and asks the right questions
    • Searches the web and reads your files
    • Generates images when it can
    • Shows you the result and your options

    MyDataNest

    • Provides your full brand context
    • Writes with your agents and your strategy
    • Recycles texts, web pages and YouTube videos
    • Designs carousels and stores your media
    • Runs the calendar and publishes to your networks
    • Keeps everything in your workspace, ready to pick up

    What your assistant can do

Twenty-three tools, designed so that every request ends in a post true to your brand.

    Read the brand context

Pillars, goals and angles, channels and formats, writing styles, knowledge base, industry watch, daily ideas and days without a post.

    Write a post

Channel, format, pillar and topic are enough: your agents write in one call and you follow their progress live. Draft by default.

    Find a topic

Browse a pillar's saved topics, or have a new one generated from your knowledge base and the web.

    Recycle content

A text, a web page or a YouTube video becomes a post tailored to the network, with or without the brand strategy: your call.

    Carousels and media

Generate carousel slides, import an image or video from its URL, find a visual in your media library.

    Calendar and edits

List, read, edit, schedule or archive your posts, in your brand's time zone.

    Channels and publishing

Check the connection status of your networks and publish right away, only after your confirmation.

    Autopilot and guidelines

Approve the week's proposals, search your knowledge base and add lasting writing guidelines.

Your posts, as they will be published

In Claude and ChatGPT, every post you create or edit is shown in the mockup of its network, the same as in the MyDataNest Studio, with its media and carousel slides.

    • Mobile or desktop view, for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok
    • "Schedule", "Publish now" and "Open in MyDataNest" buttons
    • Edits happen in the conversation: the preview updates with the next result

A few requests to get started

    • Read my brand context and suggest three post ideas for this week.
    • Write a LinkedIn carousel about the four-day week, HR pillar, contrarian angle, and schedule it for Thursday at 9 am.
    • Recycle this YouTube video into an Instagram post, using the brand strategy.
    • Which autopilot proposals are waiting for my approval?
    • Remember that we always address our readers formally.

    Ready-to-use prompts

Launch them from your assistant's prompt menu: they load your brand context and guide the conversation.

    /
    Suggest some content

Three well-argued ideas based on your daily ideas, before any writing.

    /
    Create a post

The right questions in the right order: channel, pillar, goal, topic, angle.

    /
    Recycle a text

A text or a URL turned into a post for the network of your choice.

    /
    Weekly review

Drafts, ready posts, failures and empty days, without changing anything.

    /
    Plan my week

The autopilot's proposals, day by day, to approve or adjust.

    Setup

Add one address, sign in with your MyDataNest account, and you're done. No API key to copy: the connection uses OAuth.

    Server address
    https://mcp.mydatanest.cloud/mcp

Requirement: an active MyDataNest account (free trial included). Accounts are created on MyDataNest, never from the assistant.

    1. 1On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, open Settings › Connectors, then "Add custom connector".
    2. 2Name it MyDataNest, paste the server address above, then confirm.
    3. 3Click "Connect": the MyDataNest sign-in page opens. Sign in, check the workspace, then click "Authorize".
    4. 4In a conversation, enable MyDataNest from the "+" menu and make your first request.

Custom connectors are available on Claude's Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. On Team and Enterprise, an organization owner adds the connector first; each member then connects to it. A connector added on the web also appears in Claude Desktop and on mobile.

    You stay in control

Your assistant acts with your permissions, never beyond, and nothing irreversible happens without you.

    OAuth sign-in

You sign in with your MyDataNest account: no key ever goes through the conversation.

    Your permissions, no more

Every action is checked by MyDataNest against your role in the workspace, never by the model.

    Human confirmation

Instant publishing or a new writing guideline requires your confirmation, enforced by the server.

    Draft by default

Without a date from you, a post stays a draft. No permanent deletion: the assistant archives.

    Revocable access

Remove an assistant's access at any time in Settings › Password & sign-in › Connected assistants.

    Included in your plan

The MCP server is part of your subscription: no usage-based billing, no end-of-month surprise.
